Well right off the bat I noticed this photo for the untraditional placement of the model. This is a plus because it draws your interest right away because you really only have less the ten seconds for the image to hit you or not. I like the light that is on Demonica her expression is very good in this light, it show how sculptural the angles of her face are, also her gaze is what I call bedroom eyes which is a look beckoning the viewer to join her, the curve of the bust which leaves everything up to one imagination is beautiful but her expression make the image sexy. As a painter/illustrator I use photography to capture my images for reference. I love the angles through out the photo they bring the eye to her even though the lamp shade is almost center stage. I love this shot because of all this. Now the issues I have with it is the same issues I have with lots my older photos. Since I use my photos for reference for some of my painting I love to have some detail in my shadows by the use of a white card to shine reflective light in to the darker areas. I am sure that that can be achieved without taking another photo and using photoshop for burning and dodging. I love the photo and I am glad to see you back on DA.
